Welcome to medieval times at the Château de Pierrefonds in the Oise on the outskirts of Paris. Largely remodeled by Eugène Viollet-Le-Duc in the 19th century on the initiative of Napoleon III, this majestic castle decorated with a drawbridge, dungeons, crenellated ramparts, is located on the edge of the Compiègne forest not very far from Crépy-en-Valois. The original poster in stone tones proposed by Posters à Bâbord shows in the foreground one of the restaurants “Le Chalet du Lac” with its typical architecture of stepped gables and also underlines the imposing stature of the castle which emerges from the horizon.
