It is in Normandy, in the very south of Cotentin, that we find Granville, a small town of shellfish fishermen nestled between Donville-les-Bains and Saint-Pair-sur-Mer. Thanks to its promontory it seems to watch over the bay of Mont Saint-Michel. In offering us this vintage poster, Posters à Bâbord drew ideas from retro pre-war advertisements and art deco illustrations. The opportunity to discover one of the most remarkable viewpoints offered by the old town: the casino and the Flat-Gusset beach. It was the players from the Granville casino who came to stroll the beach after spending all their savings who unknowingly named this beach the “flat-gusset”.
